Need a footage of Japan?
"media for you" is a Tokyo based production specialized in shooting events, documentary, corporate
and educational video for broadcasters, news agencies, and internet streaming around the globe.
If you need footage of Tokyo or around Tokyo area, our professional and creative bilingual
crews will shoot it. When you have little time and budget for sending your crews off to Japan,
we will alternatively work for you! We will welcome your production requests globally.
Services
Below is the standard price for each service. (The price may change depending on a project content.)
Please ask for detailed quotes.
1: Coordination (equipment rental, hotel, restaurant, permission)
■ A Japanese&English speaking production assistant
10,000yen per hour
(The price is for inside or near Tokyo area. Please ask a price for other areas in Japan. )
■ reservation of rental equipment / pickup & return
20,000yen each time
we will make arrangements for the shooting equipment (camera, mic, light, c-stands, etc )
with professional rental gear stores. The price is only for reservation, pickup and return.
Equipment price is NOT included. We also carry a variety of in house equipment.

■ hotel booking
10,000 per hotel
(Plus accommodation fee)
■ car or van booking
10,000 each time
(Plus car rental fee)

2 :Shooting & Encoding (HD, NTSC, PAL)
■ A bilingual camera operator
20,000yen per hour ( 3 hours minimum )
Even when shooting time is shorter than 3 hours, the price equals to 3 hours shooting.
■ In House Equipment
・HD camera (Panasonic AG-HMC155 or Canon 5D mark2 with Rode NTG gun mic)
20,000yen per day
・Sony HDR-CX500V HD handycam / Panasonic DVX-100B camera
5,000yen per day
・Wireless mic (Sony URX-P1)
3,000yen per day
・RIFA light
2,000yen per day
■ Encoding (e.g. Apple ProRes. Please specify what type of format)
20,000yen (up to 2 hours of footage)
For a large amount of footage, the data would be loaded into a hard disc.
The hard disc could be either provided by you or newly bought by us
(Depending on the total data size, the price for the hard disc changes. )
■ Delivery Method
Air shipment (e.g. FedEx or UPS)
Online data transfer (only for short footage)
For the air shipment, the price varies with the destination.

We currently accept only bank transfer.
Also we ask our clients to make a payment by Japanese Yen if possible,
but a payment by foreign currency is negotiable too.

The founder of "media for you", Tsuyoshi Satoda, had worked in TV industry as a director
for 15 years. In 2006, he founded "media for you". Until now, "media for you " produced nearly 500 videos.
Satoda has solid background with documentaries, events, interviews, product promotion, web, and corporates.
In 2010, Satoda released his award-winning first documentary film, " The Volunteer, For Real? " in Japan.
